Lourdes is a city located in the Hautes-Pyrénées department, in the Occitanie region, southwestern France.
It is located at the foot of the Pyrenees and near the Spanish border. The city is famous for its Marian sanctuary, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, which attracts millions of pilgrims each year.
