Marseille is a port city in the south of France, located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

Some of the top tourist attractions in Marseille include the Notre-Dame de la Garde Basilica, the Old Port, the Marseille Cathedral, the Calanques National Park, the Chateau d'If, and the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations (MuCEM).

The city is also famous for its Mediterranean cuisine, such as the famous local fish soup, bouillabaisse.
